Joseph Carey is a marketing professional, photographer and videographer based in Shropshire, England. He started in a Shropshire photography studio in 2019 and took A levels in Film Studies, Photography and Business at Shrewsbury Colleges Group. He then spent two years in Gibraltar creating content for fintech company damex.io, where social engagement rose 50% in six months, and ran the videography and social for the Damex Pro League, a professional basketball event whose short-form coverage passed 311,000 views on Instagram Reels. In 2025 he was a Digital Asset Coordinator with Fortescue’s global communications team in Perth, Western Australia, bringing 65,000+ files and 20TB+ of media into the company’s first company-wide digital asset library. He has photographed the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, at the NEC in Birmingham, and the fashion designer Karen Millen. He now leads digital media and content for a business in Shropshire and is studying for a BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing at Aston Business School as a degree apprentice. He holds the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award and built the writing app Gren.
