The brief
ManufacturingUK.org exists to support small and medium-sized manufacturers in the UK. The redesign had one job: make it the obvious first stop, a single front door to funding, skills, compliance guidance and growth resources, free to every UK manufacturing and engineering SME.
The build
Every page is generated by a small Python build script into plain, fast static HTML. There’s no heavy framework and no page builder, so pages load quickly on any connection and are easy for search engines to read.
The site includes a support finder, a map of support, a members area, events, news and pages written for manufacturers, sponsors and support organisations.
